White Castle Restaurant is Adding a Chicken Fajita Slider and Other Side Items

First, let me explain what a White Castle restaurant is. It was founded in 1921 and sells square fast-food hamburgers on small square buns. The burgers are fresh grilled on a griddle over sauteed onions. They coined the term "sliders" that other restaurants use now. They have 345 locations across the United States concentrated in about 15 states. As far as I remember here locally they were the first and only one open 24 hours a day, which made them very popular with the people leaving the night clubs at 4 am to grab a burger and soak up the alcohol. Drunks love White Castle hamburgers. White Castle has white castle-shaped restaurants with blue trim. They are credited with being the first fast-food hamburger restaurant. When they started out, hamburgers cost 5 cents. They've been quite successful for many decades focusing on hamburgers and fries. So why now start introducing new foods that aren't their core product? I don't think the chicken fajita slider will go over well with their demographic of customers. Likewise, they've added a side called a "Jalepeno Cravioli" which consists of bite-sized snacks made with diced jalapeños and cream cheese, all wrapped in a crispy, seasoned cornmeal breading. I think they should the main thing the main thing and stick with hamburgers. Have you ever eaten at a White Castle restaurant? Did you like it? What do you think of the menu changes?

While I’ve eaten at White Castle restaurants many times, they aren’t around Oklahoma. I would, however, try the two new items if I could. Hopefully, they’d fare better than Arby’s Steak Nuggets.

Those Arby’s steak nuggets were the worst!!!! Now Arby’s sign says try their bacon nuggets. They’re not fooling me again
