As president, Jimmy Carter is often berated for the Iran crisis of that era. But Jimmy Carter managed to keep the Strait of Hormuz open; trump can't even do that despite (or perhaps because of) the raving lunacy of his boy-disaster, Petey Hegseth who sounds a lot like the bragging hunter who bagged an elephant... from a helicopter using an automatic rifle and dispatched aides to cut off the elephant's tail so he can stand on the elephant's corpse in a practiced triumphant tail-holding pose.

Well, you make it sound like he thinks he's in some kind of reality TV show in a demented way and that he doesn't care about the consequences of his actions because he believes all the bad stuff will be edited out and at the end of the show, Putin will hug him and say, "good job."
