TOPIC: When God says yes
SUB-TOPIC: His timing not ours
TEXT: isaiah 60 vs 22
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you are completely certain God has given you the go ahead, or a yes but no solution or results in sight?
believers often assume whenever God says yes, it automatically means we would see results when we want it, or things would start moving based on our schedule or human calculations.
Isaiah 55:8–9 (KJV)
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Keypoint??
The above Scripture gives us a clear reminder that our heavenly father does not reason the way we humans reasons. when He says yes, it happens in His set time. His yes might feel delayed but it is definitely not denial. As believers, our part is to constantly pray for divine alignment, so that our timing should aligne with His timing. once there is an alignment everything becomes easier. instead of asking God when, ensure you are aligned with His will for you. God’s “yes” is not just approval of what you want—it is agreement with what He has purposed.
