Update On My Previous Post.

In my previous post, I had mentioned receiving an editorial review for a writing team I hadn’t worked with in years, but struggled with even then. I did respond to the review. What I didn’t mention on here is that I’m on a temporary block for that writing team (and ONLY that team, not my other teams/clients). I was feeling a bit discouraged, mostly because I’ve struggled with this team in the past. My project manager just wrote me back a little while ago. She told me not to feel too discouraged; I’m only on the temporary block so that the editors and I have time to adjust and learn from these mistakes. Their goal is to get me off that temporary block asap. She also answered questions I had asked regarding the instructions. So, I feel a little better knowing it’s to help me, and it’s not punishment or anything like that. I’m definitely going to try to learn from my mistakes and do better. I can usually finish these orders in a few hours. I just need to ensure they don’t keep coming back for revisions. I’m paying attention to my feedback, and I think I’m going to take notes in my Google Docs. Alrighty, I have about an hour or so before it’s time to head out. That should give me time to pick up another order. I want to try to come back for at least one more post before heading out, though. Sooo, maybe I’ll see you all later. :)
