I took the medicine I bought, but it turns out I bought the wrong type--it's "DM", which when I looked up what that meant said it's for dry, hacking coughs, which my cough is not. 
Serves me right for going shopping when I was in a bit of a hurry. 
Tomorrow is Wednesday, but I don't think I'll be able to go to Bible study at church tomorrow with this cough. I don't want to cough on anyone there, especially not the older folks that come.
Tomorrow morning I have a phone appointment, which I hope I'm fully awake for.
