The pressure on the British Prime Minister to resign

Following the terrible performance of the ruling labour party at the council polls, there is a growing call for the current prime minister to resign .The far right politicians and their followers are using anti-immigration sentiments to push for a new government and with more than 60 MPs calling for Starmer to resign, there will likely be a change in government soon.

In politics, it’s all a numbers game, so we wait until the final vote in parliament is counted and the PM is officially replaced. Until then, he might still do everything possible to hold onto power and shift the dynamics in parliament.
