Update To My “Order Was Accepted” Post.

To recap: I’ve been having trouble with a writing team (not my regular, weekly/monthly clients). The issue is on my end, as I’ve been struggling to grasp the instructions for some reason. My project manager is helping me with it and has put a temporary block on my account (for that team ONLY, not my other clients), so the editors and I can adjust and work through it. I’ve had multiple revisions and the editor’s comments already. They weren’t mean or anything, just pointed out where I need to improve. I mentioned earlier that the order I finished a few days ago was accepted without any revisions or editor’s notes. So, I reached out to my project manager for feedback. She responded and told me there wasn’t any feedback and to keep up the great work. Oh snap. I’m so glad I saved a copy of that particular order. I can use that and the editorial feedback to help me get on track. I did let her know that I wouldn’t take any other orders until I had the green light from her. But I also let her know that I probably can’t take any more until next week. I have other orders I need to focus on at the moment (mostly direct orders; sent just to me). Man, I was SO CLOSE to leaving the team the other day. I’m glad I decided to take a breath, see what my project manager said, and not do anything I might regret later. I don’t know what the future is going to bring, but with her patience alone, the team is worth another shot. Plus, I do enjoy the orders; I just need to improve on them.
