Yesterday morning around 8 AM, on my way to the bank, heavy traffic backed up the entire road. At first I thought it was the usual rush hour madness, but as I got closer, I saw a crowd gathered across the street...what could have happened? An elderly woman had gotten her leg trapped in a broken roadside slab at 5 AM, and she’d been stuck there for hours...oh my God!..why is this happening?? Emergency responders were there with a heavy truck and ambulances to break the concrete and free her. With one lane completely closed, every vehicle was forced to squeeze into the other, causing a massive hold-up. One loose slab and one moment of bad luck, and an entire road came to a standstill...I just hope she is okay
