I sure hope they find their dog

These people on the highway out here have posted a 5,000 dollar reward for their lost dog. IF it is the same one on the entrance to this development is is a smallish beagle..could be a puppy. Now the area where they live on that side has about 100 acres of woods. I really hope they find it. However, one thing I would offer less of a reward and put up full glossy pics of the dog. The pics and signs both are far and few in between. Not sure if they even advertised it on Next Door.
Obviously though they love their boy. Even though I love Nico I probably wouldn't offer more than 100 dollar reward if he was lost. I just am not sure any more would help, and I can't really afford some mega reward. If I spent more money it would be on a pet detective. If I had a dog again I would have some kind of GPS collar on him so I always knew his approximate whereabouts. I would microchip too.

One cat from our neighbourhood was gone for 8 years, and wandered back in like nothing had happened.

I hear about some things like that. The one cat I had that was permanently lost was I kept seeing his double in the neighborhood after that. They had different markings though. The other cat looked like it had a star on its chest.

I hope they find them, too. I've seen signs like that posted around here, too. I hate when people loose their pets.

I know,,,I feel bad for them. I know what it is like to lose a pet, but luckily I got 3 out of 4 back, NIco and the dog within an hour or two.

I was terrified when Nico got out of the house.. He gets scared so easily. I wouldn't have slept if he was out overnight.Luckily he was sitting in a shed in back of the house. He let me carry him back in.
