Praying for their safe return..

Its a bright Wednesday..and I'm heartbroken by the news from last Friday...Bandits attacked a primary school, abducting over 40 students and 3 teachers..hmmm One teacher was forced to make a video introducing himself as the math teacher of the school, after which the bandits confirmed they beheaded him...so sad. The rest remain in captivity with ransom demands. Five days later, the children are still missing and the government is now open to negotiations to save lives showing they have no clue how to save them. Where do we go from here? This is not the Nigeria we deserve. Every month these governors collect huge security allocations, yet schools remain unprotected and bandits operate freely...Where is all that money going? Teachers in Nigeria are among the most poorly treated in the world , yet even basic security cannot be provided for them...And the saddest part is, Nigerians just go about their normal lives like nothing happened. Praying for the safe return of the children and teachers, and an end to this madness.
