Urgent matters before friday office hours ends

I’m planning to visit my sister today, but when I was about to ask my chief for permission, I hesitated. I wanted to go home early at around 4 PM because the last time I went to see my sister, I got stuck on the road until 10 PM. The line at the terminal was insanely long. So this time I decided to let them know I’d be heading out early. But then our top boss suddenly messaged, and he gave an urgent task to each division. Since I’m the only staff left in our division, I ended up being the one to do it. I guess I’ll finish this first before I ask to leave. Haha, it feels like this is only the second time I’ve tried to ask to go out early, and it looks like it’s not going to push through.
