Everything for my family

Last Friday, I wasn’t able to leave early, and it was frustrating, but that’s just how life goes. There are times when the moment you plan to head out early, random urgent orders suddenly come in. I finished around 5:30 PM, but I’d already lost the drive to go because I knew the line at the terminal would be insane by then. So I decided to postpone my visit to my sister until the next day. While I was catching up and chatting with a coworker, our boss called us over. He said he wanted to take us out for dinner since he knew he had stressed us out earlier with his last-minute urgent task. Of course, we went. While we were eating and having drinks, he suddenly suggested we go to a comedy bar. He said, “Come on, you’ll enjoy where we’re going more.” We just followed along, and before we knew it, we were at the comedy bar. We actually had a great time. We didn’t get home until almost 2:30 AM. The next morning, I woke up at 8 AM and immediately got ready because I was finally heading to my sister’s place. When I got there, I was so happy because they were cooking my favorite dish. After we ate, I used the massage chair and ended up falling asleep. When I woke up, I invited my sister to visit our cousin, since we were planning to visit our aunt at the cemetery. After that, we went to the market and cooked dinner together. All of us cousins helped out preparing the food. It turned into a spontaneous little reunion, and it made the long trip to see my sister and cousins totally worth it. The following morning, my sisters and I went to the mall because I wanted to buy our mom a new phone—hers was already broken. It worked out perfectly since I’d just gotten my bonus. It made my heart happy to be able to spend on my mom. Honestly, it feels really good to finally be in a place where I can buy things for my parents. Little by little, I’m able to give back to them. We also ate at the mall, and I paid for everything. It’s my simple way of repaying them for all the love and support they gave me back when I was still studying and didn’t have a job yet.

He is indeed a very kind and considerate boss. It just happened that his order came in at that time. He didnt do it on purpose. He just needed our help, so we helped out. The timing wasnt great, but its okay. Thank you. Everything I have now is all because of them. They supported me without asking for something. Now that i have a stable job its my time now to give back. Im so thankful and blessed that they are my family, i didnt felt any pressure from them. They are the reason why I just love to enjoy my life. Because all they want is for me to be happy, always.
