Talking about a Starter

Nothing happens without action. Many times in my life, I’ve found it hard to picture what could happen if I just took a chance and started something new. It’s not always easy to get moving; starting can feel really tough. But once you take that first step, you see that it’s worth it. How long it takes to reach your goal doesn’t matter as much as simply beginning. When you can hold off on quick rewards and stay focused, you give yourself a chance to discover amazing things.
Just like a car won’t move unless you turn the key, we don’t get anywhere unless we find something to get us going. You might have all the skills, dreams, and opportunities, but nothing changes until you actually start.
For most of us, the hardest part is overcoming the urge to stay still. Our minds naturally want to avoid change and discomfort. But if you can push past that and take even a tiny action, you’ll start to build momentum.
Actually, I talked about this in one chapter of my book.
What’s one thing you’ve been waiting to start, and what’s holding you back?

@Neil43 Well, apart from someone who cleaned my apartment throwing away my $400 refrigerated medicine, I would say pretty good. I’m trying very hard to keep perspective about it, and remember my family is doing well, my pain is under control, so in the long run I’m doing well.

Cool! I think everyone should move to really know the answer about the future.

I want to start reading again. I used to be a voracious reader. Reading is hard on my eyes; and because of lack of sleep, I"m always tired.

I don't think k I have been held back by anything really.
If I wanted to do something, generally speaking I just went ahead and did it.
