Talking about a Starter

Nothing happens without action. Many times in my life, I’ve found it hard to picture what could happen if I just took a chance and started something new. It’s not always easy to get moving; starting can feel really tough. But once you take that first step, you see that it’s worth it. How long it takes to reach your goal doesn’t matter as much as simply beginning. When you can hold off on quick rewards and stay focused, you give yourself a chance to discover amazing things. Just like a car won’t move unless you turn the key, we don’t get anywhere unless we find something to get us going. You might have all the skills, dreams, and opportunities, but nothing changes until you actually start. For most of us, the hardest part is overcoming the urge to stay still. Our minds naturally want to avoid change and discomfort. But if you can push past that and take even a tiny action, you’ll start to build momentum. Actually, I talked about this in one chapter of my book. What’s one thing you’ve been waiting to start, and what’s holding you back?

These are very wise words. I’m not sure what the answer to your question would be. I’m trying very hard to just put one foot in front of the other, really.
