It was a half way decent weekend. More good than bad. So we actually got to celebrate our anniversary on Saturday. We had Wildland training first but that was only two hours. After that we went into Murfreesboro. Spent way too much money but it was a really good day. After Murfreesboro, he took me into Cookeville. Spoiled me some more and capped it all off with dinner at my favorite restaurant Texas Roadhouse. Sadly however when we got home we had to bury Beasty. Our bearded dragon didn't make it. It was such a great day ended on a sad note. We're cleaning everything up and getting rid of it. We agreed that if in the future we get another one we'll just restart all of it. Sunday we didn't do a whole lot. We cleaned and he put my rotating bookshelf together. It was a pain to get together but I absolutely love it! It is holding my read books for the year. We also figured out that we would put small three shelf bookcases in the closet for the coloring books. They will also hold my sports cards on top. So I now have a place for all that and it'll clean up the house a bit more. Monday was fun-ish. Hubby grilled and we had movie night with mom. We watched the first Mummy with Brandon Fraiser. We had a Memorial Day ceremony in the square in town and we went to that. Hubby had to talk me out of shutting down the shop again. Sometimes it just feels disheartening when you can't get customers. I know my stuff is good and I work hard to make it good but customers just don't want to shop. However, I am still going strong and I will continue adding things and promoting. Today I am working for Chris, sitting with her grandmother. The agenda is computer work. I got the rotating bookshelf now it's the computer desk. I have things to make for the shop. I have new wolf earrings up and now I have butterflies and horses to do. I think I have veteran ones to do also. I even got new things to put in. A license plate frame, a cooling towel, circle, square and rectangle cutting boards and a few other things. I am currently reading Treasure You by Crystal Perkins. It's set in the Fusion world created by Kristen Proby. It's a small book which I should finish up today. After that I'll slide into the new Carrie Ann Ryan ARC. With some luck I'll get it done by the time the new Nora Roberts book comes in. It's a plan lol. We're still working on clearing out pops room. Once I do that it's just a matter of money. I'm close to being able to get the floor fixed but as for putting down a new floor, I'm way off. Everything will come in time. I feel like I'm running out of it most of the time lol but it'll just be what it is. What is everyone else up to today? We have rain and more rain coming in making it steamy out there.
