They Both Are Well

Last night I was feeling very downbeat. Couldn't sleep till late night. My wife was fast asleep. She was tired. I didn't wake her up.
Changing sides on my bed I was struggling with the negative thoughts coming in my mind. I thought of my parents' age. They both are over 80. I thought to get them checked up at a good hospital.
Today morning I took my mother and my father to a city fifty kms from my town. I took them to a big hospital . The doctors conducted many tests and told them they both are surprisingly well and have no problems whatsoever.
They congratulated me and asked me not to worry.
Within three hours I got back home.
I'm now very happy.

Thank you, my friend. My parents are well, but last night I suddenly got worried about their health. That's why I got them checked up at a big hospital The doctors were surprised to see all their organs are functioning well.
I'm so glad today.

You seem to have a lot on your mind lately. I’m sure it felt good to hear your parents are doing so well. I often ask my dad when his last checkup was, and it used to annoy him. Now, he realizes I just worry about him, and is more forthcoming about his appointments.
