Hello again, myLot!

Hello, all!
Back home from work, and got a ride from a former neighbor, whose two younger children go to our afterschool program. I told her I was very grateful, which I most definitely was.
Some of the teachers from the school got pizza for us in the afterschool program, so I'm still feeling pretty full and not like I have to get something for dinner.
I do want to go and get the mail, though.

Where are you working now? Is this still the military daycare? I am so far behind in everyones posts.

Oh, goodness' sake, no. I quit the Coast Guard job months ago. Hated that place. Currently I've been working for an after school care job at an elementary school across town. Recently we found out that the company we work for, Champions, is being taken over by the Boys and Girls Club, and we have to go through an interview process again and all that stuff--but no one knows if we're still going to have jobs.

@xstitcher it seems like you’ve bounced around a lot in the last few years. I hope you can find a job and settle into it for a long time.

Sounds good; I'm not usually a pizza person, but I have it once in a while. You sound like you have a nice community; I'm kind of isolated, but I hope to find a sense of community one day. You sound like you have a nifty life.
