Siblings

Oh, how I love my siblings so much!! Yes, we've had cross words, bickered and even tusseled a bit. But no tusseling lately because there's no way my old bones could take that. I have 2 full siblings and 5 half siblings, even though the oldest of the half siblings, really isn't even a sibling (long story) and the half sibling closest to my own age is more like a full sibling because we were raised together. The oldest 2 halfs are 15 and 17 years older then I am, the 3rd I have no contact with because he's a jerk, the 4th is the one I said is more like a full sibling and the 5th is a completely different story. With most siblings, I think, we grow up together, kind of separate to raise our families and then come back together. It happened with my siblings and I am so glad we are all back together again. I went to find a image to add with this post and OMG how right that is. I can remember me and my siblings doing this whenever mom or dad would give us a treat.

I have an older sister by exactly two years and one month to the day. I always wanted to be close, but she’s never wanted that. Still, in recent years, she’s made efforts to be closer. She’s also now got 3 (adopted) kids, and the middle is special needs. So these days, she has an actual excuse to ignore me.

Having a special needs child is very, very difficult. My grandbaby #5 was born on his mama's birthday. His mama's sister is the day after. That must have been easy for their parents. Have 2 birthdays right there together and then you're done with it. There are no other sibilings, just the 2 girls.
