It's Thursday. I just have to make it through today then I can focus on the shop and cleaning and maybe something new. I kinda snapped at Chris today. I had to rush through my morning routine to meet her at Hardees to get paid. We were talking about her grandmother and I was telling her that her biggest complaint is that she's not around. Chris works at a marina so yeah I get that she lives there but here's the thing, she's taken off for vacations, for concerts. She goes to all the things the Fire Department asks of her. So I snapped at her it's priorities I guess. I just get tired of hearing it. She's always saying that she's busy and she doesn't have time for anything. Her grandmother makes small comments here and there that she never sees her. Something as simple as cleaning her necklace falls on me today because she didn't have time last night. I'm becoming the person she asks to do things for her. I've seen the end of this story and it's not a good one. I dropped everything for my dad and I never had the chance for my grandmother. She's going to end up with a million regrets and I don't want that for her but I don't know how to get through to her about it. I shouldn't have snapped but I won't apologize for it. I'm pretty sure we're doing movie night with mom on Saturday. I can't do it on Friday but Saturday or Sunday would work. We started the second mummy but mom doesn't like that one much so she said she wants to watch something different. I've been working on my latchhook dragon. I think I can finish it maybe next week. Then there's the clay I want to practice with. I don't want to go into the money of getting glaze just yet until I can even get something started. I've started Final Target by Nora Roberts last night and I have to do the reviews for Kiss Me Forever by Carrie Ann Ryan. I'm a little late on that but not too late. I dragged out my Advanced EMT book that I got at McKays and started looking at it again. I wanted to get a spiral and start taking notes. The class will start in September and end on the first of December. I'll be able to go back home and just maybe by then I'll be licensed too. Sometimes she can get the test scheduled fast and sometimes it just takes time. If I need to I can always try to test in MD. We have training this weekend but it's an easy one. Fire investigation and crime scene preservation. Interesting but all in class. After I'm helping Kristie with the CPR class. I'm always excited about that. The weather has made a turn. It is so hot now. I'm dying in the afternoons. The only plus side is I might be able to have a yard sale soon. What is everyone else up to today? Are you staying cool or warm depending on where you are?
