possible weekend plans

This weekend, we have plans to check out a semi-local outdoor living history museum because they are celebrating their 50th anniversary with three-dollar ticket prices, the price they were when they opened 50 years ago. I love this place, but seldom go because the prices are on the pricier side, so the goal is to check it out while the prices are cheaper. I'm unsure how it will all go, because chances are it'll be busy and possibly hot. It's been in the 90s this week. Hopefully, it all goes to plan, and we can check it out, and it's not so busy that we get overwhelmed. This place is super interesting. There are all kinds of exhibits. They have a 1920s downtown area where you can buy candy or ice cream and check out the old movie theater they have that plays silent movie clips, and they also have a speakeasy built into it for the adults. They have all kinds of old buildings and places to see within the village that take you back to what it was like back in the late 1800s and early 1900s in the US. They also have an amazing restaurant on site that has some amazing fried chicken and a small dinner buffet. There are supposed to be all kinds of deals all day, which means it really is going to be busy. I'm hoping if we go early, it won't be as bad, but we'll see. I know my husband and son want to go fishing at some point this weekend too, but I know it's going to be hot. The weekend is when we do all of our shopping, too, because my husband works two jobs all week. The weekend is used for grocery shopping and family time.

That sounds like a really good discount.

It is, which is why we want to go. We seldom ever go places that cost a lot to get in. We have always traveled on a budget, so it's nice that somewhere somewhat close by that we enjoy going to has something going on where we can actually afford to go.
