I have always thought about getting a portable Ice maker but never got 1 till yesterday at Mannard's, I didn't start it till a few hrs ago & even though it doesn't make a lot of ice at 1 time I like that I can make Ice to munch on. I use bottle water so I know I'm getting good water every time I get ice to munch on & not something I don't trust from my tap water. I didn't use to like water or even Ice cubes but while I was in the hosp I loved having ice water & munching on the ice cubes so now that I have my own ice maker I'll have Ice any time of the day to enjoy. "STOP WITH THE ATTITUDE" Yesterday while we were at Lowe's looking at storm doors hubby cocked a attitude with 1 of the staff that was helping us & I was very embarrassed & I told the guys sorry & thank you for their help & as soon as I got hubby off to his self I let him have it. I told him straight up there was no reason to talk to people that's trying to help you they don't deserve to be talked to like that ! ! ! they don't make the stuff in the store they just do what they are paid to do & that DOESN'T MEAN to be talked to like dogs. You put yourself in their shoes everyday & someone like you comes in & talks to you like you did, does that seem fair to you ? ? He tried to tell me They have to understand I put him in his place AGAIN ! ! NO, YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND it's not their place to take that kind of abuse on the salary they make a living on from people like you. Well needless to say I won that battle & had nothing else more to say after that & he knows I don't play that BS with him I don't like having to put him in his place but he has no business talking to people like dogs, that's why we have a hard time getting the help we need when we need it, it sucks. Anyway thank you for hanging out with me hope you all have a great weekend, stay safe bring a smile to someone you meet today.

Hubby does that at times. I send him away when he does. It seems men get worse about that as they get older

Good for you for not letting him get away with treating people poorly.

Sometimes you have to put your foot down & let them know they were out of line.

We should try to be nice to people. Nobody likes to be talked down on. I see people treat those that work in restaurants like dogs. It's just not right..

I totally agree, they have to work everyday to make ends meet & they don't need rude people talking to them like a dog.
