Worked in Penngrove today again. I'm looking forward to this being over. So I went to the bus stop (this time making darn sure I had my Clipper [bus fare] card!) after work. When the bus showed up, the driver basically said to me "We've been over this before. There's a bus that goes to Petaluma down the road across from the fire station. If you walk down there there will be a bus stop with a shelter." I informed him that I hadn't a clue where the fire station was, as I wasn't even from Penngrove (the town I was in). I forget what was said after that, but I started walking in the direction that the guy indicated. When I got to what I figured was "across from the fire station" there was no bus stop, and no shelter on either side of the street. So, I wound up calling a Lyft (like an Uber). I hated to spend the money, but I didn't know what else to do. I got a nice lady who came, and didn't mind when I told her about one of my last Lyft experiences (Driver: "Oh, you're not the person I'm here for." --and drives away.) When we went further down the road, she pointed the bus stop out to me, which was "across from the fire station", but across on the side of the fire station, not across from the front of it like I thought the guy meant. I'll know that for tomorrow, now. The driver and I talked all the way (to my) home. I favorited her on my Lyft app. I should go and get the mail. Hopefully I can get out of this seat.
