I have no idea how many couples are living together or if they are married.

Marriage is less or they are waiting until later. There are many factors at play from the stigma is gone, financial security, careers, divorced parents made them cautious, and sometimes, just easier keeping their own space.

I don’t know, but I’d bet more people are just living together.

In this country apparently about 75% of couples are married. Not being married doesn't necessarily mean bed-hopping though. my partner and I are not married but we've been together since 2003. On the other hand especially in the US it seems to me, lots of people go through a whole sequence of marriages. I remember I was rather shocked to hear people, when told someone was about to get married, ask 'is this your first marriage?' and often they would be told it was the second, third or even more. That's much less common here.

I have some up to date data In the United States, the share of married individuals has declined from 55.9% in 1996 to 46.4% in 2023, while the share of cohabiting couples increased from 3.7% to 9.1% over the same period. So there you have it, brought to you by the non married Lion
