Everyone was asking me about how the Thin Red Line blanket that I was crocheting turned out.
Well, I finished it over the weekend and this is how it turned out. I'm super proud of it even though it's not perfect.
I offered to put a border on it to hide the whacky sides but my husband wouldn't let me. He said that I'm still learning and I'll get better but this one is his.
The sad part is that I washed it and while the blanket itself came out fine which I was so happy about, no unravelling, the stars all came off. I used iron on which works for some people.
I guess not for me.
I have some fabric glue that I'm going to give a try. Sewing is my last ditch option because I can't seem to freehand them well enough to look anything like stars.
I am starting a new blanket today though. The muti agency one. I was thinking about adding the agency to the line but I'm not sure yet. We'll see how it goes.

lol I'm youtube taught just last year, around December I think. It's the first blanket I've completed.

@JordanLader YouTube University strikes again!
Honestly, finishing a whole blanket is a massive flex. Most beginners start a blanket, realize how long it actually takes, and quietly hide it in a closet forever

@sol_cee lol my husband wouldn't let me do that. This new one is going to be slightly bigger I think. This was four rows of each color and the new one is going to be five due to some of the agencies having a color line in the middle. We'll see how long it takes. I still have two in progress but they're massively different from this.

@Ineeddentures No I haven't seen anything like that. I have a sewing machine but this yarn is really thick. I may try it though.

Looks good and not a bad project. Hopefully you get the stars things figured out.
