Thin Red Line Done

Everyone was asking me about how the Thin Red Line blanket that I was crocheting turned out. Well, I finished it over the weekend and this is how it turned out. I'm super proud of it even though it's not perfect. I offered to put a border on it to hide the whacky sides but my husband wouldn't let me. He said that I'm still learning and I'll get better but this one is his. The sad part is that I washed it and while the blanket itself came out fine which I was so happy about, no unravelling, the stars all came off. I used iron on which works for some people. I guess not for me. I have some fabric glue that I'm going to give a try. Sewing is my last ditch option because I can't seem to freehand them well enough to look anything like stars. I am starting a new blanket today though. The muti agency one. I was thinking about adding the agency to the line but I'm not sure yet. We'll see how it goes.

@Ineeddentures No I haven't seen anything like that. I have a sewing machine but this yarn is really thick. I may try it though.

Looks good and not a bad project. Hopefully you get the stars things figured out.
