Crews from York County ATR and the Airville Volunteer Fire Company answered an emergency call on Thursday when reports of an injured hiker was seen near the Otter Creek Campground in Pennsylvania.
The hiker was partially in a creek when firefighters, Pennsylvania State Police, and emergency medical service (EMS) arrived to locate. package and treat the patient who was about a mile deep into the woods for about two hours.
Several departments of firefighters used a stokes basket to take the hiker was given to a roadway where the hiker was given over to EMS who then took the hiker by a medical helicopter to a local hospital where he is being treated for injuries that happened in the accident.
Because the terrain was steep and rocky, teamwork was needed to rescue the hiker.

That is true since the terrain was tough for a few people to make the rescue a success.

I'm so glad to hear that. I think your country's rescue teams to be very responsive. I've also observed that the equipment they use is very adequate for their work. Most importantly, the safety equipment they use ensures the rescue team's safety.
