Got Quite a Few Things Done Before Noon Today

United States
June 22, 2026 1:25pm CST
We left the house a little before 8 am to go to the gym and work out. After we got home we showered and changed into everyday clothes and I had a dentist appointment. It was just a routine cleaning and I paid the extra $10 for a fluoride treatment. Next was lunch at the pizza place (where hubby found the $50 on the ground). Then we stopped for me to get my allergy shots. Now I'm trying something new. I ordered something from a Walgreens store across town that wasn't in stock at my nearest Walgreens and delivery was free with a $35 or more order, which mine was. They handed off the delivery to Door Dash. I've never used Door Dash. Then they split my order into two separate orders so I think I'll be getting two different deliveries from two different drivers. This is all new to me.

@Ineeddentures when in Latvia it was always important to calculate the time becasue Latvia was a day ahead of the US so when in the US now it is 6:30 PM it is 1:30 AM in Latvia on a Tuesday.

Very busy day for you! I ate and came home and napped because I was up late watching storm coverage here and in Oklahoma.

Now that is a sure sign of luck finding all that money. Best of luck with DoorDash.

jI guess as long as you get what you ordered it is OK. Amazon sometimes splits deliveries.

That delivery sounds a bit complicated. I'd have thought splitting in two would make it more costly, unless it is coming from two different starting points, I guess
