We have been home for a second an hour. I don’t know time has lost a lot of meanings these last couple weeks. We worked from 9 to 6 today. Minus the time that we went to Harbor freight to get a sander and sandpaper and Lowe’s when we went to go get paint and putty, but those were both work trips so I guess we were still working. I don’t know. We set up a lot of the kitchen things today, including the meat, slicer in a fridge and prep tables. I got a little big chunk of the floor done. All the ceiling tiles went in and the last bit of paint for the walls went up today. So it looks like we might be open on the first After work, we went to five below so I can get a sketchbook and then we went to the gas station and in the 10 minutes that it took to gas up the truck and washed out the windshield. The weather changed drastically. It was sunny and nice when we left five below and by the time I was halfway through filling the truck up, it was dark and windy and signs were blowing into people and there’s a rock and sand place right next to the gas station and the sand was blowing over and hit me in the legs. In between that gas station and the existing diner about 30 miles away the weather, wink crazy the wind was so strong. It was blowing us around in the road. The rain guy hurricane levels and the lightning show was amazing but we made it home safe after I stopped at Dollar General and a friend’s house to drop off his dinner. I’ve made it a point that every time we get a dinner that we don’t necessarily need or we’ve decided we’re going to do something else for dinner because we get what is referred to a shift meals, but we aren’t working shifts but that’s basically what it is, I choose somebody that I know could use a little extra help or a nice hot meal would make their day better and we take them to meal and drop it off. It’s something small, but it’s just a little way to get back and share. I guess our blessings with other people. oh, we also went to Piggly Wiggly, but literally all I bought there was cupcakes for she child. We came home and I fed the dog and we ate and cleaned up and changed clothes and now we are smoking and then I’m gonna find something to watch. We are gonna relax for a couple hours before bed. We are getting closer to opening day and it started to look more and more like a restaurant and the hard work is starting to be changing from cleaning and painting to prepping and making sure we are ready to go I hope everybody has a good night and if I don’t talk to you again, I will see you tomorrow
