Day off.

This is the first day off. We have had two weeks and it was unintentional. We swapped tires on Thursday to our spare after the one that that was on the driver’s truck went flat on the way to work that morning. We thought the spare would be fine because it looks brand new but yesterday morning on the way to work it started audibly losing air. We thought we had somebody bringing tires yesterday, but they flaked. Yesterday afternoon, boss man brought the tire that he had that was a spare for his truck and we put it on. It’s awfully convenient that his truck in our truck or everything is the same but they’re two years off of each other. It’s holding so far. We had planned to just get to work late today but when I talked to the tire shop in town, they had set up with us up for an appointment and didn’t even have the tires in stock yet So we are home today our friend and boss co-owner whatever you’re call him says that it’s fine and that we’ve done a lot but I still don’t like it. I don’t like not being there and helping get our diner ready. We are making plans to be there tomorrow because the next three or four days are crucial. We open Wednesday at 10 AM. So at least I will have time to catch up here and maybe even do a couple other things that I’ve been putting off.
