Facebook is having a mess right now, thanks to AI moderation

Paying a visit here to take my mind off Facebook, since it’s a mess. No, we are not talking about trolls, fake news and scams. Right now, those are the least of the worries. The Terminator picture is the clue. We got AI moderation going out of control! We all know that Facebook is a cesspool of scams, spams and much more. But instead of reinforcing moderation, Zuch fired his human staffs and replaced them with AI to do the moderation. Unfortunately it backfired. The results are millions of innocent accounts losing monetization, access, even the pages themselves. All because of an AI glitch. It’s basically a dystopian world on Facebook, and a simple spike of activity could ruin your page. Ironically, Facebook is still the hub for misinformation and scams despite of the AI moderation done. And it could ruin Facebook the future.
