I have a courgette !

Yes, I am so excited …..a couple of days ago I saw a yellow flower …..this morning , I have a courgette …..
It’s the first year growing them and I really wasn’t sure if they would grow or not ….but, hey, I seem to be doing okay so far ….
Of course now I’m going to be making a list of recipes ….
I planted 12 plants in total which I now think may be too many ….but we will see …

I planted 12 seeds as I didn’t think they would all come up …..when they did I thought I would just put the strongest looking ones in the garden. Then they all looked pretty strong ……so I ended up putting them all in. LOL.
Looking at them now, I am going to have loads of courgettes. I have warned Mom and my neighbour ….get ready for a mountain of courgettes coming your way !
Next time I would just plant 4 initially….then plant more later.
This year is definitely a learning time for me in the garden.
