There is Not Enough Coffee

There is just not enough coffee or caffeine in general that will help the next two days. I went on the ride along yesterday which was ok. We didn't get a call and I had forgotten my bag up at station one so I didn't have my study material. Then there was a rescue call towards the end so I jumped on that to be canceled but that's okay because I still get on the report for attempting. Today is going to be the beginning of the tough. I work for Chris this morning then from her house I go straight to EMS for the jamboree. I have no clue when I'll get home because it's until it ends. Tomorrow is going to be longer as I'll be up at like 6 so I can take care of all the animals then get to EMS for a very long day at the jamboree. I'll be working from 7am until it's done. I'm trying to get as much stuff done this morning that I can so I don't have to worry about anything after today. We did engine check off's last night and it was actually a good time. The new girl made it although late. It was great to get the truck done pretty fast and then just talk. It's something we haven't done in a while. I haven't had a chance to read for a bit but I will make time after this holiday. The holidays are always rough on finding time. Plus summer and calls. The shop has had a few customers. I love when they want last minute things for the actual Fourth of July and when they miss their appointment they go like aw man because I can't open up again until maybe Tuesday. I even warned everyone about it and that I was working yet they still do it. I thought I could open Sunday but our Medical Director's Fourth of July is on that day and I really want to go. Houston is an awesome guy and I want to go and relax a little. Monday is another ride along. Probably my last one of the month. I want to start working one or two in a month unless I'm working. It keeps my skills up and it keeps me around EMS. It'll calm down again soon and I'll get back to routine. I really do think that I'll be dropping to two days with Chris soon instead of three. I want to say it'll let me get more done but in the back of my head it's like weaning her off of her dependence of me. I love her but right now I can't stand her and as much as I love her grandmother I just can't live my life for her. It was only supposed to be temporary anyway but she got attached and Chris got dependent. I think that's about it. I probably won't be back on again until Monday morning. I wake up with my husband to get things done so I work a little during that time. There just isn't a lot of time on between right now. Wish me luck and a lot of caffeine to get through this weekend lol. How is everyone else doing today? We got high 90's and possible thunderstorms. How are you celebrating the Fourth of July if you do?
