Trying something different...

I made a boo-boo when I was making pom-poms, and only cut the ends off one side because I didn't think that it wouldn't work the way I wanted.
I didn't want to waste the yarn, so I tried to think of what else I could do with it.
I thought of making a fun paperweight, and got a rock that would fit out of my "painting" rocks.
The trouble was, the rock would show on each side, so I tried to wrap the same colored yard around the rock. The rock is smooth and the yarn kept slipping.
So, I decided to glue the yarn to the rock to see of that would help it stop moving. I think I may have to use more glue, as winding the yarn around the rock around it's length rather than its width is going to be challenging.
I know it's a goofy idea, but hopefully it will work.
