Argentina defeated Egypt but referee was bad

The referee robbed Egypt of their 2nd goal. From the beginning the referees are trying to favour Argentina. If that is the case they should not continue the world cup they should give the trophy to Argentina. At that time Egypt was leading 1 goal to nil. The 2nd goal would have added their spirit. Bogus penalties are given in favour of Argentina. Inspite of bad management of world cup 6 european teams have qualified including France, Spain, England, Switzerland, Belgium and Norway in the quarterfinals. The referring is a shame.

We know FIFA itself is corrupt, is it that the referees are too? Or is it just their national inclination to favor Messi’s team? One thing about soccer (football) that has always bothered me is the flopping by players and the prejudice some refs seem to have. In American sports, refs get their rear ends kicked to the curb. Of course, I don’t watch ALL American sports so I can only say that about our three major sports: American football, basketball, and baseball. One baseball umpire was so bad they forced him into early retirement because he was just putrid with his calls.

thanks Amber it looks very odd. Yesterday when Egypt gave the 2nd goal in counterattack, they started celebrating, thereafter the referee went back and took a replay of the ball in Argentian half and baselessly created a foul and rejected the goal. It is very shameful

No wonder some Mexican comedians who are no longer with us referred to soccer referees ss crooked on their comedy shows.

thanks George Argentinians are known for play acting. They borrow penalties and referees on slightest infringement offer them all that. Maradona scored a goal with hand. Both referee and linesman were silent spectators
