Older Americans Month

Each May the United States observes Older Americans Month in order to recognize the achievements, contributions, and ongoing importance of older adults. This national observance highlights the important role that older citizens play in influencing families, communities and the country as a whole. The goal is to foster greater awareness of the needs and contributions of older adults and to encourage a more supportive and respectful view of aging. Each year, the month emphasizes different aspects of aging, such as developing connections and staying active. Their experiences and wisdom continually enrich society in countless ways. How have older citizens improved your community? Older citizens have a lot to teach us about life. What have you learned about life?

This may sound sad but with the rise of cost of living I learned work never stops, so many have to return to work to afford to live. Some just want a purpose again, but most did not want to return to work but now they have to. This country is failing the constitution and everything it was founded on.
