I Both Lost and Found $500

Yesterday I went to the bank to pick up foreign currency for my upcoming trip. It was all Euro. It cost me roughly $500 USD to buy roughly $400 in Euro. I had it in an envelope in my purse and than after the bank errand yesterday I ran several more errands, each involving getting in my wallet or purse. This morning when we were headed to lunch, I packed a money pouch in my purse because I knew the envelope with the Euros was still in my purse and I wanted to sort it for the trip. So we're sitting at the restaurant and the envelope isn't in my purse. I panicked because I absolutely didn't remember taking it out of my purse. Hubby said I probably left it on my desk or dresser and I told him I never took it out of my purse. Panic set in. I figured somehow while getting my wallet out of my purse I must have slung the envelope full of money out somewhere. I was getting sick to my stomach thinking about losing $500. We got home and the envelope wasn't on my desk or dresser. Hubby was getting ready to tear my purse apart to look for it. I got the idea to check the trash can underneath my desk, I don't know why, but I checked. It wasn't there. Then something told me to check the trash can again. AND THERE IT WAS! The bank envelope with $400 Euro in it was in my trash can! I figured out what happened. We picked up junk mail out of our mailbox yesterday and I shoved it in my purse. Then when I got home I took the junk mail out and threw it away. Little did I know that the money envelope had entangled itself with the junk mail. Oh I was so scared and I had knots in my stomach! I'm so grateful to have found it. OMG!
