In fact there would be a problem if there wasn't. We are allowed to praise whats out own or the closest we have to something. Of course your dog is cuter than mine, that's why I feel mine is cuter. Can't say "see that dog over there. Its cuter" then its just insulting unless you point to a snail and think it is a joke? When you get angry think about when you want to say something but you can't because of how you found out.
