Taking (another) break...

I am so tired--but I have a couple more things to do before I say, "If they don't like it, forget it." I do need to clean in here more often, though, and stop giving myself the excuse "Well I live here alone, and it's not like anyone comes over..." Even if, as someone suggested, I only work on one spot in my apartment for (and this is my addition) one hour a day, it's better than nothing. Earlier I gave myself another break, I was at the sink and I looked up and saw a lady and her dog that I know, so I went outside to say hello. Now I'm back inside, and not happy that my vaccuum cleaner doesn't seem to pick up everything, but I can get what's on the floor anyway. While I was outside, the lady said something like, "What day is the inspection?" and I realized I had no clue. Since the note was on my door yesterday, I assumed the inspection was today. *Looks at paper* Okay, it says that the inspection is tomorrow between 9 and 5. Well that's helpful. Plus, tomorrow I have to go to another interview, so I very well may not be here when they come. All I can do is my best. I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

@xstitcher I wouldn't be happy about that I don't like the idea of strangers in my house when I am not there

Well they should give more notice than that, because you should be present for any inspections, but interviews are hard to come by. So, I get it.

I had the interview set up before I got the dumb note on my door, and I wasn't going to cancel it for a stupid inspection.

@xstitcher That makes sense and I understand. Those can be hard to reschedule.

Hopefully, they’ll be fine with what you did. I’m sure you did a lot.

Well, a couple of the window blinds are broken, and I'm sure they'll have something to say about that. I'm wiped, but I still want to do some more. It's my own fault for not doing things sooner.
