Criminals want to "dismantle" court - I wonder why?

All over the more toxic side of social media (ie F***book) today are multiple posts from the White House, the US State Department, Marco Rubio and the demented old crook himself, threatening to "dismantle" the International Criminal Court.
Of course they have no chance of doing that - they're just a bunch of little men trying to look tough.
What do they have against the ICC? Hard to say really, what kind of people would be against the existence of a court that tries and punishes war criminals?
What exactly are Trump and his fascist associates afraid of?

Post world war us policy was to be present in most countries every , be it a base or influence so it was key they were not prosecuted in those countries so they offered free protection so they could do as they please in those countries
