Bike Leans - The Gnomes

I got more done before 9am than I’ll get done the rest of the day. Not quite the army, I guess. I didn’t take this photo this morning, but I did ride past this tree during my 22-mile ride, so I figured I’d post it.
That’s my gravel bike, Agent Gravel, leaning on a hollow tree. As you can see, a bunch of garden gnomes live inside said tree. I was going to make a cookie joke but then I realized gnomes don’t make cookies in trees, elves do. So that’s out.
I don’t know the story behind this. The gnomes have been there for at least a couple years now (how long they were there before I noticed them, who knows?) The tree is outside of a snooty private golf course on a small section of bike path that essentially connects a bike lane to an actual bike path. So either a golfer hopped the fence and placed the gnomes in the tree, someone from all the apartments across the street put them there, or more likely, the gnomes chose that tree themselves.
I’m going with that one. The gnomes found a nice tree to live in.
Link is to a Project Hero video I made last year. This tree is actually in the video:

Just now
There's a couple of pretty good-sized ones in there. I also noticed some like Tinkerbell fairies.

They are cool. I'm glad I finally noticed them. My camera is mounted to my handlebars. That's why it might get a little shaky at times.
