British Shame the tragedy of Alan Turing

Most people know who Turing was, He is widely credited with being the father of the computer and also in a sense AI. He was a British mathematician and code breaker who deciphered Nazi code during World War II saving millions of lives and shortening the war likely by years. To repay him for his service since he was a homosexual the British government repaid him for his service by having him chemically castrated and breaking up his team the people closest to him, and sent them into anonymity. Shame on Britain for treating homosexuals and one like Turing who should have been knighted and acclaimed for his efforts into despair and degradation.
