are you good in spending your money

i always have problem in where and how i spend the money. there are many times, I felt I made a wrong spending on some things. regretting not only on what I buy but also on paying for services that I felt like I was robbed of my money because they didn't do a good job like for repairs and etc.
so i wonder if there's lot out there who easily wrong decision on how they spend their money

I spend my money on necessities simply because there is no extra beyond that. I try to get recommendations on things that have to be done from people I know won’t steer me wrong. That keeps me from wasting money. I’m fortunate that I have a lot of people in my life that can make recommendations to me.

@hotsummer do you have like a community website where people post about jobs they need doing and people mention those who have done a good job for them?
They have this website here called Angi’s List, and they have sections where people have posted about electricians, roofers, lawn care people, and the like who have done good jobs for them. They all have a host of people who recommend them with proof they really used their services. You pay a flat fee and you get access to all of their confirmed recommendations. It sounds like your country could use a site like that.

@AmbiePam we don't have them here. if there's one usually that website don't last long. because there aren't too many honest people around here who post on those website. being in a third world country, it's normal here . carpentry and other labor jobs, are filled with scammers. specially in Facebook group, where you can contact carpenters, some have posted the name and pictures of person that they contacted on that group because they didn't complete the job when fully paid already. if you don't have many people you can depend for recommendations you'll have hard time to get someone to do the work

Oh well I have made a few mistakes spending money over the years
But we learn by our mistakes
And that should mean we make better choices in the future

When you live on a fixed income like most people do
we learn how to save $ B-4 spending it & that is the
1st lesson you should learn, I save up for things I need
like for my medication, & that takes 2-3 ss checks &
what's left after that I save another 2 cks to add to what
I have to get what I have in my store cart online.

yes it's not easy to just spend money if one is not rich like most of us. though we have money for important things.
