41 days until the ber months. I am just glad it is not as hot as it has been. As a matter of fact I saw some leaves turning yellow the other day. That kind of thing does my heart good. The trees on and around my property never turn early though. It will be two months before we see any kind of color here. In other news, I really do think the foxes ate the majority of my squirrels they are few and far between now. I think I saw a fox streak across the yard today..but couldn't be sure. Nico who often looks out the window from another room saw something in the woods in the back and came running out here. It was likely one of the foxes. I wonder if it is mating season for them?

They are all part of the food chain. I liked the one that used to pop up in a flower pot. 102 sounds sick..I assume that is the actual air temp.

Yes, and I am jubilant. Not necessarily a big fan of winter but I love the fall. The only thing I don't like is if my hands get cold.

Reading your blog reminds me of the fairytale books I read when I was a child.
Its raining in our part of the country, I just hope it will just rain enough to sustain our water supply but not to bring calamaity.
