Kentucky Had Multiple Tornadoes Yesterday

The National Weather Service has just confirmed that an EF1 tornado hit Hardin County, Kentucky (that's near Fort Knox, where the gold is) during yesterday's round of thunderstorms across our region. There was also a tornado touch down in Hart County, Kentucky that was described as "massive and dangerous" but I don't have a lot of details about that one yet and apparently they haven't given it a strength number yet. In Grayson County, Kentucky there were at least 20 homes leveled and a few minor injuries. Here in Louisville, Kentucky we just got very heavy rain but no high winds or damage.

It must be very scary for those who are near them. I'm kind of glad that we're not as affected by them up here.

This time of year always makes me nervous. I’m sure a lot of Kentucky people feel same way.

Kentucky does seem to get hit with bad weather frequently. We had storms yesterday, and may have today as well, the storms yesterday were not nearly as intense as they were Saturday.
