A good day so far.

Good afternoon.
So far today appears to be goi well despite my later start. I've been up for a while, just started the dish washer, and gotten George his morning meds. I've also knocked out two surveys. So I suppose it's been a good day over all.
George is happy and so far it's hot but sunny. Can't complain.

Doesn't bother me one bit. She made landfall in lusinia already and won't be coming back (or shouldn't). And, even if she did, we're prepared. George and I spend about the same ammount of money a month, but we shop smart. We always buy canned goods almost every shopping trip. We have plenty of water, and know when to prep the house for a storm. We've been through it. We know what we're doing.
Last hurricane that hit, the only thing I didn't like was the creeking of the roof, but we knew it'd hold.

@RasmaSandra Since George's stroke, I am more or less alone. George can help in his own small ways, but I'm the one at the end of the day that needs to make the decisions for the both of us. If I told him we should evcuate, it'd be up to me to make the plan, and then get him to do it. It's not as easy anymore. i just made a doctor's appointment, but I had to convince him why i needed to make one.

@kaylachan It makes a huge difference when there are the two of you. I am all alone. I hate anything unusual and the way I feel as I get older is that if anything really serious happened, it would just help to off me to the other side, which would make me happy anyway.

I was up early today around 7:30, but didn't venture outside until an hour later. I enjoyed a cup of coffee and took care of email during that time. I have to get on over to Ebay and fill an order that was paid for and get it ready for mailing.

@kaylachan Nope, but I had to add some things to Ebay and Poshmark and also get everything tagged and packed for the flea market restock tomorrow. It all adds up!!
