Home grown Basil, dried and crumbled …..

I picked and washed lots of Basil leaves just before I went to the caravan and left it on trays in the oven….not switched on obviously….. I have just spent a few minutes crumbling up the now dry leaves. It’s all gone into a zip lock bag…..I have put more in the oven to dry….. I plan to dry my other herbs too….it will save a fortune , as I won’t need to buy them now. Why didn’t I think of doing this before ! What do you think of this idea ?

I love it and have been meaning to get some herbs planted. I'm sure your efforts are paying off! And kudo's for having fresh herbs on hand!

I’m really enjoying it so far ….. veggies and herbs …..they taste so much better than shop bought , and it’s great to get them from garden to plate in less than 30 minutes.
