So... what's next?

Have you ever planned everything, and after doing it all, you're left feeling blank? It’s like you’re in an empty space in your mind. You don’t know what to do next because you have no plans after achieving your goal. Do you lose your motivation after getting what you want? Something you've worked hard for over many years, and then you don’t know what to do next?
This has been happening to me. I’ve planned everything since I was young, up until now. I was able to achieve all the things I wanted when I was young, and now there’s nothing left to pursue. It’s just a blank page, where I’m writing my past and present, and now I don’t know how to continue into the future.
I’ve tried exploring, but nothing captures my attention or makes me want to pursue anything. It’s just going with the flow, doing what I’ve been doing for so long. I’ve traveled to different places around the world, but I still haven’t found a clear direction. I’ve met different people and shared some thoughts with them, yet I still am left with a blank idea of what to do next. I’ve tried scuba diving, skydiving, and other challenging activities to feel thrilled, but afterward, I still feel like a blank page.
What’s for tomorrow? What will I do next? What’s my plan for the future? I have businesses. I own lots of properties. I’ve conquered my fears. I’ve been able to enjoy life and do whatever I want, but why does it still feel like a blank page after all?
How do people who have achieved everything manage to continue? What’s their motivation? What is something they’ve done that I haven’t done yet?
Were you able to achieve your goals?
Have you done all the things you want to do in your life?
So, what’s next?

I've never been able to sympathize because I've never felt the way you do. But, maybe you need to stop planning and stop thinking of what comes next. Slow down and learn to be flexible and just live. Try breaking up the plan and routine a bit.

I really do understand. Sometimes, we need to feel something in order to share our thoughts correctly. Sometimes, emotions prevent us from having clear thoughts. However, being empty and having nothing to think or plan about quite irritates me. I used to plan things. I used to think about what I am going to do next. I used to think about having goals. Achievements and the feeling of fulfillment are very amazing.

@tech40 I can understand that. But sometimes you just have to figure out what works best for you. I don't plan things all that often. Or, if I do, I leave room for flexibility, like making doctor's appoitments, planing our staycations and so on.

@kaylachan Oh yeah. Those are important plans, but what about your goals or achievements? Is there something you want to fulfill in your life, and what have you done to get closer to achieving it?

I wonder how old you are ?
It seems to me ….and of course I may be wrong, this is the first time i have read one of your posts , but I am guessing you are single and have worked hard to achieve businesses and properties, which now run themselves and make you more money. You are well travelled and have done ‘single’ experiences, such as scuba diving etc ….
I think when you say now you have a blank page , what you really mean is …..you don’t know what to do !
Try to think of a bigger picture …..
1. Do you have family ….a spouse / children
(If not , that may be making you feel …what next ….)
2. Think of your next challenge as giving something back to the world…..
Big projects….setting up and building something that will benefit thousands over the years ….schools, outward bound environments, hospitals, charity work ,
Sounds to me like you have achieved a lot but your life is not rich ….find yourself a purpose !

I usually bring my family with me when I travel. When they are not with me, I make sure they are having fun.
I've built buildings before for my company's expansion. For schools and hospitals, I see those projects as more of a headache than a challenge. If I were to manage such projects myself, I would simply delegate them to someone else.
