Bike Leans - Nikola Jokic

Yesterday I posted a photo of my mountain bike, Agent Orange, leaning against canvas paintings on a fence along the Highline Canal Trail that runs through the Denver area. Today’s bike lean photo is the same fence, different bike (my gravel bike, Agent Gravel,) and a different painting. The guy my bike is leaning on is Denver Nuggets superstar center Nikola Jokic.
Born in Sombor, Serbia in 1995, Nikola Jokic (nicknamed “The Joker’) has been playing in the NBA since 2014, when he was drafted by the Nuggets in the 2nd round (41st pick overall; they actually ran a Taco Bell commercial when the announcement was made. Viewers only saw it on the scroll.) He is thought by many to have the highest basketball IQ in the league. I’m not even a Nuggets fan, but he is really fun to watch.
How good is this man at his job?
He is just the second player in NBA history to average a triple double for multiple seasons (in case you are unaware, a triple double is when a player gets double digit stats in three categories during a game.) He is a three-time league MVP, an NBA Champion, and an NBA Finals MVP. He is the lowest-drafted player to win those two awards. Playing for Serbia, he is an Olympic Silver and Bronze medalist. And the list goes on. And on.
He’s also a successful racehorse owner in Serbia (the races where the jockey sits in a little race buggy pulled by the horse.)
I took this photo last year. Yesterday I rode past the fence and noticed a couple new paintings I need photos of. Jokic is still there.
Link is to a five-minute video of Jokic’s 60-point triple double against the Minnesota Timberwolves:

@teamfreak16 Hey, it's good to have more than one interest. Pun intended.

Oh yes. He seems happier when one of his horses wins than when the Nuggets win.

@TheHorse - His two big brothers live here in Denver. They are huge, like walking trees. I see one of them when I'm doing laps in the park sometimes. He walks laps.

The mention of harness racing takes me back. We used to have a harness racing track here in town when I was a kid…wasn’t too far from where we lived.
Anyway, cool mural. He’s the smartest man in the NBA because he didn’t go to college in America.

Harness racing. I couldn't remember the term, so I went with jockey in little racing cart.

He keeps a low profile. Unless you watch the NBA, you most likely wouldn't.
