One of my college roommates is a high profile attorney in Florida. Another former college roommate is a senior engineer with Pratt & Whitney. Both are very wealthy, and have lots of expensive toys. Being close to both of them, I have the luxury of getting to use those toys without actually having to buy them myself!
My engineer friend has a beautiful boat that we take out on the ocean frequently. And since he often has to travel to Connecticut for business meetings at Pratt & Whitney's headquarters, he'll often let me use his boat while he's gone.
My lawyer buddy just bought two wave runners. He hasn't even used them yet. Him and his wife are leaving for New York City for the rest of the summer, so he called me the other day and asked if I wanted to break them in for him while he's gone. Being the ever so loyal and dedicated friend, I could not refuse his offer!
So today he dropped off the wave runners. Attached is a photo of them. Don't they look gorgeous? Originally, I had planned on doing absolutely nothing this weekend, but now the plans have definitely changed! The girlfriend and I are going to take the wave runners to the beach this weekend and have a little fun!
Isn't it fun playing with other people's toys?

Oh how cool! I know ya'll will have fun breaking them in! One of our nephew's in New Jersey just bought one. Now he wants a bigger one. My hubby was wondering if his brother was going to follow suit. He is famous for buying things and losing interest very quickly. He said if he buys one and he loses interest, he is going to go get it. LOL!
