TD LUIS bothers the 2nd day of August

Tropical Depression "LUIS" is getting momentum as it traverses slightly slowly towards east east of the Bicol Region.
Early morning of Sunday, the center of the tropical depression was estimated at 295 kilometers east of Daet, Camarines Norte based on PAGASA Weather bulletin.
The cyclone is traveling west-southwestward at a slow pace, with a maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour, said PAGASA.
But yet our family never fails to attend our Church Sunday services.

Some good news I heard is that there’s only a small chance the typhoon will head toward us, and it will likely just bring rain to certain parts of our island. It might be good to have those rain clouds help replenish our dams at some point. Of course, in some areas, this could still mean hazards like flooding and landslides in the mountains. I still hope that even without the typhoon making landfall, we remain cautious, as the monsoon rains could still cause problems.
