Since I live across the street, today’s bike lean photo is one of higher education: The University of Denver. The University of Denver was founded in 1864, making it the oldest private college in the Rocky Mountain region. Home of 11-time NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey National Champions the DU Pioneers, DU students receive a quality education, getting to stay on a great, historic campus while living in a great city. Students can pursue degrees in a wide variety of programs, including sciences and mathematics, law, music, arts, education, and business to name a few. When I first moved into my place, my neighbor was finishing up his degree in International Relations, with the goal of joining the Diplomatic Corps. So you can get some really cool degrees at DU. I live across the street, so I ride my bike through various parts of the campus on a regular basis. I took this photo on the way back from a big, long ride a couple years ago. As I said earlier, it’s a beautiful campus, quite relaxing to ride a bike through (or take a nice walk, as well.) And I mentioned the Ice Hockey championships? In all total, Denver Athletics have won 36 NCAA Division One National titles since 1949. A quality school all around.
