Wheee! Let's have some fun. Can you guess the temperature yesterday when I climbed into my truck after music practice?

As I mentioned yesterday, it was about 97 F when I headed off for music practice. Brentwood, due East of here, is usually five to ten degrees warmer than Pleasant Hill in the Summer. When I stepped out of my air-conditioned truck in Brentwood, it felt hot, but not that much hotter than at my house in Pleasant Hill. I had to park my truck in the sun, as the trees in this subdivision are young and provide no shade. When I got back to my truck to head home, I was able to read the temperature on the little readout that's on or near my rear virw mirror. Can you guess what it read?

Hints: My truck was in the sun. Its thermometer may read a bit high.

@Ineeddentures 128 C, Hmm. I don't think a visit to the pool would help much. People would be tossing carrots, potatoes, and onions in all around me.

110 F? It was 104 F today, and I got in my car and my legs started burning from the seat. That’s what I get for wearing shorts.

Yeah, when the temps get into what I call the red-hot, I feel despondent, I try not to move very much and then my PC warns that the humidity is rising and i can feel that heat,

Parking in the sun makes your vehicle as hot as hell. Let me guess, I would say 123 F, that it was I have read two days ago in the car of my neighbor.

Around 32F? Were you wading in snow to reach your truck?

@TheHorse Did you play in the snow when you made it home? I hope it wasn't too hot to enjoy a nice swim yesterday.

Higher still. The truck was sitting in direct sunlight. It (the temperature) started to go down as I headed home.
